let's put it this way.. if your a new racer and your looking for the safest way to ride without spending a ton of cash, go with a rental first. They're slower for a reason, so you can learn to ride safely.

After you "qualify" to rent a (much) faster kart like the leopard, you'll have the safety part learned and will be better off. As with all racing, there is some sort or risk, but the biggest risk of all is not following safety guidelines. To Qualify for a faster kart you have to prove that you can be safe on the track and display the safety quidelines and can control the kart on the track.

Compared to other motorsports, your an inch from the ground which makes it hard to loose control of your kart and thus keeping you safer.
